Kisses
Did I tell you Dolly loves to give kisses? Not something I encourage but she is very persistent in her need to kiss when you pick her up. Such a tiny little kiss, how can you resist?

visitors
Dolly managed to get her fill of laps and cuddles today. She jumped from one person to the next, settling in for a rub down. Every one comments on how sweet she is.
Did did take some time out to run around the yard with stuffed toys and helped her foster brother dig for moles. She is all curled up now ( on a pillow of course ) so tired from her busy day.

sweetness
Dolly is a real pleasure to have around. She is just so sweet, every one that meets her is taken by her charm. She has a bad habit of putting her paws on your legs to get your attention. She is so gentle that it is difficult not to pick her ups and give her a real cuddle. How can one discipline a little face like hers? LOL She really is getting better and will often sit for attention.

Socializing
We had Dolly out to garage sales and a farmers market yesterday. She meet up with some very large dogs and she did very well, growled once at one dog but still went up for a sniff. It is as if she just needs to let them know she is in control, all 12 lbs of her.
She was very social with people as well. She went up to them for a pet and a sniff, happy to meet them all.
She was very calm and interested in what the next stop would bring.

Cuddle Bug
Dolly loves to be cuddled, she will not miss an opportunity to sit on your lap for a squeeze. She stretches out as long as her tiny body will let her, closes her eyes so as not to miss a second of pleasure. I love to have her snuggle in under my chin, she is such a baby, if she could purr she would.
Dolly will greet people at the door with some barking but soon lets them know she is willing to be picked up for a rub. She can be pretty persistent, butting her nose under a hand till they automatically rub her ears. She does not care if they do not pick her up as long as she can have that contact.
If there is no one willing to give her a good rub down Dolly will roll around on the carpet stretching out to rub herself. She loves it when you pass by and rub her belly for a bit.
A precious little girl, full of love.

Welcome Back
Dolly's new family found the well known Chihuahua traits a bit too much too handle.
Two weeks after her return the chain of command is firmly reestablished. .
We have been taking her on walks where she can come across people and other dogs. She has tried to do the growl y teeth aggression stance but we find she is easily corrected, even looking the other way to avoid eye contact with other dog. Is doing great on our walks, no longer pulling on the leash and is now ignoring barking dogs and pedestrians.
Dolly is getting along great with our dogs here is getting submissive with them.
The perfect family for Dolly would have some experience with dogs.
